A pair of individuals decided to visit the animal shelter with the intention of simply checking out a feline with unusually large cheeks. However, their experience at the shelter ended up being much more meaningful than they had anticipated.

Mr. Jenkins, formerly known as Grizzly, was discovered in a dire state and believed to have been involved in a car collision. Lollypop Farm took him in to provide the support he desperately needed. This feline was estimated to be roughly a decade old and had spent most of his life outside. According to Love Meow’s report, he had an upper respiratory infection, lost some teeth, and had other minor injuries, in addition to those suffered in the accident. He had a weary appearance and showed signs of having endured years of living on the streets. Mr. Jenkins was quiet and timid when he arrived, but he had a charming personality that shone through.

Grizzly was discovered in a weak state outdoors, but with the help of Lollypop Farm, he was able to fully recover while under foster care. During his time there, he gained some healthy weight and energy, yet still maintained his charmingly plump cheeks. To boost his chances of finding a loving home, Grizzly was placed in the adoption area with other cats and kittens. However, his calm demeanor caused him to be overlooked by more outgoing felines. Despite this, staff and volunteers recognized that Grizzly simply required a peaceful environment and a caring person to bring out his true personality.

While scrolling through Lollypop Farm’s website on a gloomy day, Amber stumbled upon an adorable feline that caught her eye. Though she wasn’t planning on adopting, she couldn’t resist the kitty’s charming features – his plump cheeks and expressive eyes seemed to hold a world of tales. Feeling drawn to him, Amber knew she had to meet him in person. However, her partner Dan wasn’t much of a cat enthusiast, but he still obliged and accompanied her to the shelter just to have a glimpse of the furry fellow.

At Lollypop Farm, Grizzly enjoys making his signature “biscuits” and lounging on a cozy lap. When the couple arrived at the shelter, they had trouble finding him. Eventually, they spotted him snoozing on a high windowsill while the younger cats clamored for attention. Despite their attempts to talk to him, Grizzly remained sleepy and unresponsive. However, a friendly staff member kindly opened his enclosure so the couple could spend some quality time with him.

At Lollypop Farm, Amber and Dan met a lovable dog named Grizzly. The moment Grizzly laid eyes on the couple, he captured their hearts completely. They decided to take Grizzly home for a trial period, hoping that it would work out between them. They knew deep down that Grizzly was the perfect fit for their family.
Bringing Grizzly home was an easy task for the couple. He seemed comfortable in his carrier during the car ride and fell asleep right away. It turned out that taking naps was one of his specialties, as Amber revealed.

At Lollypop Farm, Grizzly was provided with a cozy room equipped with everything he needed for a comfortable stay – multiple litter boxes, his preferred food, a variety of toys, plush items, and even his own throne in the form of a personal couch. The staff made sure to shower him with treats and affection, taking turns going in one at a time to show their joy at having him there. In no time, Grizzly understood that he was in the right place.

At Lollypop Farm, we encountered a furry friend who immediately captured our hearts. This charming creature seamlessly blended into our surroundings and won us over with his affectionate nature. He had a knack for snuggling up in our laps or perching on our chests to rest. In fact, he was the most tender, expressive, and amiable pet we’d ever come across.
We often joked that he had the personality of countless cats rolled into one. His warm embraces, complete with paw hugs, made him all the more endearing. It didn’t take long for him to become an inseparable part of our family, forever attached to our sides.

Lollypop Farm is a place very dear to Mr. Jenkins’ heart as it is where he found his beloved Grizzly, who now goes by the name Mr. Jenkins. This furry friend has brought so much joy and happiness into the couple’s life with his warm and snuggly nature. Every day, Mr. Jenkins greets them with his cuddly cheeks and affectionate hugs, never failing to brighten up their day. He is also quite particular about his meal times and loves to demand pets whenever he feels like it. In fact, he’s so used to his routine that if they ever forget something, he kindly reminds them.
