Sporting a trendy oversized black DMX hoodie, the 34-year-old artist stepped out after confirming her upcoming performance at the Super Bowl halftime show. Rihanna, who admitted feeling “nervous” about the gig, wore a unique pinafore featuring the rapper’s face alongside her own on the right sleeve. Completing her look with vintage Adidas slides and a pair of tiny athletic shorts, she managed to still rock her sweatshirt in style.
The solo parent had her hair styled with a side part, along with bold black sunglasses and a shiny silver chain necklace as accessories. When questioned by TMZ while she was out and about, the renowned Diamonds artist admitted, “I’m feeling a mix of nerves and excitement about performing at the Super Bowl.” In response to the interviewer’s query about potential special guests, the Umbrella vocalist simply shrugged her shoulders.
TMZ has reported that there is a list of fifty potential Super Bowl guest performers, with a possibility that it could include anyone the artist has worked with in the past. The last halftime show featured Eminem, Kendrick Lamar, Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Mary J. Blige, and Snoop Dogg, which was watched by 103.4 million viewers and won three Creative Arts Emmys. The founder of Savage x Fenty turned down the NFL’s offer to host the halftime show in 2019 due to quarterback Colin Kaepernick’s protests against racial inequality and police brutality in the US.
