On Shaping Identity Beyond Age:
It’s becoming increasingly clear that as women age, they only become more captivating. Their depth of knowledge and character grows, adding to their beauty both inside and out. The wisdom and richness that come with age are truly remarkable.
As for myself, I plan to continue working for as long as I desire. Whether that’s at 70, 80, or even 90, who knows? The important thing is that the option is there for me, ready to be seized. I’ve always maintained a mindset that refuses to be restricted by labels based on birthplace, background, or age. Those boundaries simply do not apply to me.
When thinking about the future, I am determined to continue growing and exploring new opportunities. The idea of directing my own film is something that I have considered. While I have been offered directing gigs in the past, I had to decline due to time constraints. I can’t make promises about directing multiple movies, but I am committed to evolving as an artist, performer, and producer. I will continue to be selective about the projects I choose to be a part of and I hope this drive to create meaningful work never fades.
Just you wait for next year, it’s going to be a whirlwind.
