A gentleman was able to find his beloved dog, who was taken away along with his van. Bobby Linville heavily relies on Baby Girl Blue, his 8-month-old Husky-mix service dog, as she assists him in detecting oncoming seizures and provides support for his PTSD. His world was turned upside down when the thief took Baby Girl Blue away from him.
The condition of my van doesn’t bother me as much because my employer has a car dealership and I can easily get another vehicle from there. However, my dog was the most important thing to me; a true companion who was always by my side through thick and thin. Losing my dog is like losing a piece of myself. I struggle to hold back my tears as I share this with Tamara Scott from 10 On Your Side.
The Norfolk Animal Care Center played a crucial role in reuniting Baby Girl Blue with her owner, Bobby, after they were separated for a week. The NACC staff saw the news report on WAVY News 10 and discovered that the dog had been brought into the shelter by a police officer. Before returning the canine to Bobby, the NACC made sure that her rabies shots were up-to-date and that she was microchipped for identification purposes. Everything is now back to normal, and Bobby is even trying to raise funds through GoFundMe to purchase a new van.
