It has been said that Duke had contracted a very contagious ailment and individuals were advised to keep their distance from him. He was fastened to a shabby, dilapidated trailer in a town in Bulgaria, left all by himself for a number of days without any attention or care. As each day passed, Duke’s optimism decreased as he took refuge beneath the trailer, feeling neglected and forsaken.
Thankfully, a kind-hearted individual spotted the helpless dog’s critical state and contacted Rudozem Street Dog rescue, which is an authorized animal welfare group located in Bulgaria that aids distressed animals.
When Tony Rowles reached the location, he was met with a disturbing sight. One of the organization’s co-founders came across a dog that was infested with flies and was surrounded by its own excreta.
As you scroll down, you can also watch the video. Tony revealed that he was honestly frightened by a potent ammonia odor that left him unable to move.
Tony and his family welcomed Duque and a few other dogs and cats into their home as the shelter was overflowing. Though Duque was an extremely lovable pet, he had one contagious attribute.
During his first few weeks of being there, he was careful and wary around other men.
Tony remembers meeting the individual for the first time and thinking that they were fine. However, as time passed, Tony noticed that the person’s mannerisms and behavior around him started to feel uncomfortable and unsettling.
