As Hicham Boujlal was wrapping up his bus route in Saramäki, Finland, he unexpectedly encountered a new passenger. He noticed a big, furry dog walking by the road in the darkness, seemingly alone. Curious, he stopped his bus and opened the door to get a better view of the pooch. To his surprise, the pup hopped onboard without hesitation, and Boujlal gladly gave him a ride.

Boujlal shared with The Dodo that the pup entered the bus quietly and sat next to him. This took Boujlal by surprise, especially since there were no other passengers on the bus. However, the pup chose to be near the compassionate driver who had stopped for him.

As the dog couldn’t communicate where he was headed, Boujlal made the decision for him. He took the dog to the bus station office and reached out to a nearby animal shelter for assistance. Interestingly, during their journey together, the fluffy companion turned out to be an excellent co-traveler. According to Boujlal, the dog behaved impeccably throughout the trip.

Soon after news spread about the dog being found, his expedition ended happily. It appeared that he had strayed away from home a few hours before. Thankfully, Boujlal was able to reunite the dog with his distressed family in no time. The furry companion also realized that boarding the bus would lead him back home, exhibiting his intelligence and amicable nature. Boujlal expressed his delight in being able to assist the dog, describing him as a smart and friendly pooch.
